Welcome to Jiya Jewellers’ Online Store. We are happy to have you as customers and want to ensure that you have a pleasurable experience shopping with us. Please read our terms and conditions of use to familiarize yourself with the way we set ourselves apart.

Our Online Inventory

At Jiya Jewellers, we try to keep our online inventory up-to-date. As such, we update our online store’s offerings every night after business hours have concluded. In the unlikely event that our online store erroneously shows an item in stock, and you happen to purchase that item, we will notify you within 48 hours of your purchase and offer you a full refund.

Taxes

The Government of Canada, the Government of Ontario, and the Municipal Government, all provide valuables services to the people of this great nation. As such, we must also do our part and collect taxes on behalf of the Government.

The rate of taxation for sales in Ontario, Canada is 13%. Taxes vary based on the location of the buyer and are calculated automatically by the Shopify software. These taxes are remitted to the buyers' respective government agencies.

Although we try to ensure the accuracy and correctness of all information on our online store, should we make a mistake, we humbly ask for your forgiveness and understanding. As part of our customer service, we will double check your order and reach out to you within 24 hours if we notice any errors in the product description, price, etc.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept all major Canadian-issued, and most non-Canadian issued credit and debit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay.

We take your security seriously and therefore, to protect you we have implemented a policy that the shipping address and the credit/debit card billing address must be the same. In the event that the two addresses differ, we reserve the right to cancel your order.

Validating your order

Congratulations! You are now the proud owner of elegant jewellery. Your purchase will be on its way as soon as we are able to validate a few important things.

We have implemented a policy that the billing address of the credit card and the shipping address for the purchase must be the same. If the addresses do not match, we will be forced to cancel the order. This is done to protect you from fraudulent purchases. Should we cancel your order, we will notify you within 48 hours via e-mail or phone. We will also reverse the purchase charge on your card.

Once the payment is verified, we remove your purchased item from our display and start the process of securely shipping it out.

Duties and other charges on International Shipping

We love our neighbors to the South. We’ve built this online store as much for our Canadian clients as we have for our American friends. Alas, there is a small issue of duties and additional charges that must be addressed.

The border authorities determine the duties that must be paid. These duties can vary and neither the seller nor the purchaser has any control over how the duties are determined.

In the event that duties or other additional charges are placed on your purchase, please pay them promptly in order to receive your purchase. A non-payment may result in the item(s) being returned.

Product Display/Colors

We make a sincere attempt to display product images that come as close to the real thing as possible. Our products often contain naturally occurring gems. With real gems come variability in color and shade, blemishes, markings, and inclusions.

Furthermore, screens settings on devices may show colors differently. If you’re unsure, please check the image on multiple screens to get a better idea of the actual color.

Exchange and Refund Policies

**Customized items are non-refundable, non-returnable, and are not subject to exchanges and refund. **

***Items in the “Special Offers”, “Discounts”, “Clearance” category are final and non-exchangeable or non-refundable. These items will not be accepted if returned, and no credit will be issued. All sales for these items are final. ***

The exchange and refund policy only applies to gold products purchased from this website, you have the following option:

Exchange the product(s) for another of equal or higher value provided you meet all the conditions listed below:

  • The exchange process is initiated within 10-days of the purchase date.
  • The product is received by us within 10-days of the purchase date.
  • The product is intact, in its original state, in the original packaging, with a security tag in place, is without damage, and does not show signs of use, or wear and tear.
  • The product has not been damaged, altered, resized, worn, used, or is missing its security tag.
  • Certain types of items cannot be exchanged, like nose pins or nose rings are the only items that are not allowed to be non- exchangeable due to health concerns.
  • The product passes our quality inspection.
  • The product is shipped with proper care and with proof of shipping insurance for the entire value of the purchase. 

Exchange Procedure

We’re sorry that you’re not 100% happy with your purchase. Please follow the instructions below to get the exchange process started. Remember, that you must send us the merchandise within 10-days of the purchase date!

Step 1: E-mail Us: info@jiyajewellers.com asking for an exchange or refund. In your e-mail, please include:

  • Purchase receipt order number.
  • The reason for your exchange or return.

Step 2: We will reply with an order number. 

Step 3: Once you’re ready to ship out, please reply to e-mail with the following information:

  • Return shipping information (Tracking Number).
  • Copy of the shipping insurance for the full value of your exchange/return item(s).

Step 4: We will send you an e-mail once we receive your shipment.

Step 5: Our quality assurance team will inspect the exchanged/returned item and ensure that all criteria are met.

Step 6: We will send you an e-mail informing you of the outcome of the inspection. If you are eligible for an exchange or refund, we will include the store credit or the amount of your refund in the same email.

Step 7: For exchange, please make another purchase and use your store credit coupon to pay for the purchase.

Step 8: For refunds, we will refund the stated amount in step 6 to the same method of payment as was used for the purchase. Please allow 10 business days for the refund.

Step 9: No hard feelings! We can’t expect everything to go smoothly. Please visit us again and we will work twice as hard to make you a customer again!

Shipping

We take great care of our products and ensure that your purchase arrives at your doorstep with equal care! As such we spare no expense in packaging your purchase and use the best shipping companies to deliver your purchase. 

Jiya Jewellers offers free standard shipping within Canada for all orders over $75. Orders under $75 will be charged a standard shipping rates.

Once your order has shipped, please allow 2-8 business days for delivery depending on your location. Please allow 2 - 4 business days for express shipping and Please allow 2 - 4 business days for priority shipping.

We are confident in the abilities of our shipping service provider, however, should a package arrive damaged, DO NOT accept the shipment and contact us immediately. 

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
